Son is a Vietnamese entrepreneur and investor. He is best known for being the founder of T&A Communications, the largest PR agency in Vietnam, which was acquired in 2011 by WPP, the world’s biggest marketing and communications company. Son also built a digital marketing agency called Sunny Vales, which he later sold to Yahoo! Son now actively invested in s wide range of companies that offer business solutions, education and healthcare businesses. He is a founding member and chairman of Sage, a communications and branding academy and Blue Productions, a movie production company. He has also invested in Forinco, a cancer treatment clinic chain; Amigo Pharma, a pharmaceutical company.

A native of Hanoi, Son graduated from the Moscow Institute of International Relations with a master in International Journalism in 1994.  He is a USIS Business Fellow, Class of 2002 and a Rockefeller Fellow, Class of 2005. In 2006, he received the prestigious Asia Leadership Fellow from Japanese Government and Japan Foundation and became the youngest fellow in ALFP’s history. He is a highly respected literary critic and an expert in cross-cultural integration in Vietnam.
